When the world went app-crazy, dumb and pretty became en-vogue. This presented challenges:
finger-friendly buttons on smaller screens equals less space for UI components, so designs had to be that much smarter.
Delta solved these problems using a Golden Ratio layout with some OwnOS innovations, and became the foundation for some successful Android and iOS apps, some rated 5-star by tens of thousands of people despite being run in a WebView rather than natively.
The desktop version was the first operating environment to support fully animated backgrounds. It relied on a now-abandoned Apache/Perl framework, but these screengrabs show a little of the platform's capabilities.
